My problem is sleeping too much. Consistently about 12 hours per night since being a teenager. Don’t know why. I’m overall pretty healthy.

The computer screen, blue light issue before bed is a misinterpretation of the data. Screens can increase stress, but there needs to be a minimum of 150Lux to suppress melatonin production. Screens are more like 50-100 Lux, so unlikely to make much difference on that count. The real blue light issue is actually the other way round – not enough light in the middle of the day. Working indoors only provides 100-200 Lux, whereas outdoors gives 20,000 lux!! we need that high intensity light to suppress melatonin production during the day to let us know when the middle of the day is, so that we can know when the middle of the night is.
