• The human body is made up of around 60% water, and maintaining that level is essential for our health.
• Water creates the environment needed for our body to function and work the way that helps us do our best.
• To maintain it, experts recommend drinking around 2 liters of water every day.
• The general rule is to drink 8 eight-ounce glasses of water (called the 8×8 rule).
• Let’s look at some benefits that we can get by taking a healthy amount of water each day:
Maximized Physical Performance
• Maintaining the water levels inside the body is key to maximize physical performance.
• Dehydration takes hold when the body loses around 2% of its water. Athletes, on the other hand, can lose from 6-10% of water due to sweat and exertion.
• Loss in water can make you lose weight, impair temperature control, increase fatigue, and reduce motivation.
• Moreover, staying hydrated can help reduce oxidative stress inside the body.
• Thus, getting the most out of your body requires you to keep it well hydrated.
Maintains Your Energy
• Your brain’s performance and function rely significantly on hydration.
• Even mild hydration, which can mean losing 1-3% of your body’s water, can massively impair the brain’s activity.
• Fluid loss from the body has also been linked to a decrease in working memory.
• It is also believed to result in increased anxiety.
• Dehydration can also affect your mood.
• Maintaining hydration is thus essential for brain performance.
Helps Avoid Headaches
• Dehydration is a major cause of headaches and migraines.
• Beyond that, drinking more water can help relieve headaches and avoid more of them.
• According to one study, drinking an extra 1.5 liters of water every day can help relieve migraines and improve Migraine Quality of Life.
• While the studies may not be concrete, d

Also fruits and vegetables help with bowel movements. I started eating fruits, veggies, and protein and drinking bottled water and V8 juice.

  30. Eat when you feel hungry. Drink when you feel thirsty.

"We found no significant differences at all," says nutritionist Ann Grandjean, the study’s lead author. "The purpose of the study was to find out if caffeine is dehydrating in healthy people who are drinking normal amounts of it. It is not."

The same goes for tea, juice, milk and caffeinated sodas: One glass provides about the same amount of hydrating fluid as a glass of water. The only common drinks that produce a net loss of fluids are those containing alcohol — and usually it takes more than one of those to cause noticeable dehydration, doctors say.

The best general advice is to rely upon your normal senses. If you feel thirsty, drink; if you don’t feel thirsty, don’t drink unless you want to. The human body already does a good job of regulating water balance on its own, and you therefore need not force yourself to drink when you are not thirsty for fear of being dehydrated. The exhortation that we all need to satisfy an arbitrarily rigid rule about how much water we must drink every day was aptly skewered in a letter by a Los Angeles Times reader:

Although not trained in medicine or nutrition, I intuitively knew that the advice to drink eight glasses of water per day was nonsense. The advice fully meets three important criteria for being an American health urban legend: excess, public virtue, and the search for a cheap "magic bullet."

Water strengthened my urinary tract muscles for when I need to hold it before getting to the bathroom from my bedroom. Catheters scratched it. And it was being irritating to constrict the muscle for to hold two nights ago leaving in an embarrassing mess.

  37. Here are the allegations:
There are two types of water.
    1. living water
    2.Dead water
Drink as much water as you want, but if the water you drink is "dead" water, it won’t do you any good.
A method to resurrect dead water:
Water with "pine kindling" soaked in it.
Put a tablespoon long, finger-thick pinewood kindling into a 5 liter bottle and add drinking water to it.
Soak this water for a tiki or three days.
Shake this water from time to time so that the sap of the pine kindling penetrates the water.
    Never boil pine kindling.
It is very dangerous to boil pine tinder and drink this water.
Water containing pine kindling is recommended for diabetes and blood pressure patients.
Even if you are not sick, drink this water every day, but use this water only as drinking water.
    Never boil this water.
When the water is gone, follow the same recipe with fresh pine kindling.
